In an interview, to portray a positive personal image about yourself you must firstly be presented well. The dress code for a job interview is shirt and tie. First impressions are very important. Be on time or even a little early. Never be late, chances are that you will not get the job. Also being early shows that you are eager. Do your research about the company so that you may answer any questions the interviewer might ask. Be polite and confident; these are very desirable qualities. Bring copies of your qualification and always look the interviewer in the eye when speaking or being spoken to.
